Sam Fender es un cantautor británico nacido en North Shields, Tyne and Wear, el 24 de abril de 1994. Fender comenzó su carrera musical tocando en pubs del norte de Inglaterra antes de firmar con Polydor Records en 2017. Su álbum debut, *Hypersonic Missiles*, se lanzó en 2019 y alcanzó el número 3 en la lista de álbumes británicos. El álbum recibió elogios generalizados por sus letras introspectivas y las poderosas actuaciones de Fender.
