I Lordi sono una band heavy metal finlandese formatasi nel 1996 a Rovaniemi. Noto per la teatralità horror che caratterizza l'immagine del gruppo e i testi delle canzoni, il nome deriva dal soprannome del cantante Tomi Putaansuu, detto Mr. Lordi. Ogni membro indossa una maschera da mostro e un soprannome, rendendo impossibile vederli senza i costumi di scena.
